Parking close to Switched On Bikes
Switched On Bikes is centrally located on the waterfront and only a short walk away from the Wellington iSite centre and Te Papa Museum. If you need to drive, the best place to park is the Te Papa Museum car park. From here it is a short walk along the waterfront to our store (see our map above).
Arriving from a Cruise Ship
Switched on Bikes is approx. 25 minute walk (1.8 km/1.1 miles) from the Lambton Quay cruise shuttle stop.
Exit your shuttle and walk down Whitmore Street. Stick to the sidewalk until you reach the water’s edge and turn right. Stroll along our beautiful waterfront for 20 minutes keeping the water’s edge on your left. Head past the iconic Te Papa Museum and the large WELL_NGTON sign and look for us in front of the yachts next to the green crocodile bikes!
